Hi, I am Efrain.

I’m the founder of SportographyShots and a sports photographer based on California’s Central Coast. What started as a way to capture my oldest daughter’s soccer journey has grown into a full creative pursuit. Today, all three of my daughters play the game, and that connection continues to fuel my passion for telling athlete stories through photography and media.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with clubs across the region, including serving as the official photographer and social media manager for the Santa Cruz Breakers and now contributing to the growth and brand of Los Gatos United. My work goes beyond just taking photos — I help clubs build identity through content, from high-energy game coverage to media days, player features, and social storytelling.

As a MaxPreps photographer and long-time club creative, I bring a mix of technical experience and real understanding of the game. I know what these moments mean — to players, families, and programs — and I aim to capture them in a way that feels authentic, powerful, and lasting.

At the core of everything I do is a simple goal: create imagery that connects, inspires, and represents the passion behind the sport.
